As with most moms and ALL photographers.....the person ALWAYS missing in my family pictures is me. I have a zillion pictures of my kiddos, a handful of them with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandparents and dad...but none with me. So today I took matters into my own hands and snapped a couple of myself with the kids. Nothing special just a memory of what a fun morning we had playing together.
I recently read a post from another mom/photographer challenging everyone to take a picture a week of themselves with their kids. I thought WOW..that is awesome...I can do that....well it's been well over a month a this is my first try....but atleast I did it...and I will try to do better in the future!!:)

So, so sweet...I hope you didn't do like most grown women and over-think this (how's my hair, smile etc!). All of the pictures are just so cute, you'll love having these to look back on! I love how each kid has such a different look on their face! Amy

Awesome pictures, and what a great idea. Though I'm certainly no professional photographer, I'm our family's resident photographer. I think I'll make an attempt at getting more photos of the girls and I together. Thanks for the inspiration.
What a great idea Jen! I need to do that too. I'm never in front of the camera. Usually I look way too (I hate to use this word, but I am) ... skanky! LOL
