Cookies....







Every year I enjoy making Christmas Cookies with my mom...but this year has been a *little* crazy and I hadn't had a chance to get anything made...so last Wednesday the kids and I made cookies...OK well I made a few and they ate a TON!! It was a messy wonderful time. I hope that this is one of the traditions my kids will always remember as they grow up...making Christmas cookies with mommy!! It's always been a memory I've treasure of time spent with my mom!!!:)

Our *NEW* favorite cookie reciepe this.... (Thanks Auntie Brooke for sharing it with us)

Cookie Dough Truffles

1/2 c butter softened
3/4 c brown sugar
2 c flour
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c mini-semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c chopped walnuts (optional)
11/2 lb semi sweet chocolate almond bark

Blend butter and brown sugar
Add flour, milk, and vanilla
Stir in chocolate chips

Chill for 1-2 hours

Form dough in to 1 inch balls, chill, dip in melted almond bark and chill until ready to serve. Keep refrigerated.

Looks like so much fun!! We *decorated* cookies but I wasn't willing to "deal with" the mess of actally making them with the boys - you're braver than I am!!

The kids are adorable, the Christmas card is wonderful. You totally rock!!
